Happy Tuesday, and happy first day of fall! Today is September 22, 2020, we are now 6 weeks away from Election Day (Nov. 3, 2020). In some states like Virginia, election day has arrived, thanks to early voting now underway!
This week’s reminder begins by informing you that today is National Voter Registration Day! That being said, visit http://www.vote.org now and register to vote, or to verify that your registration is still active/valid.
Since early voting is underway in some states (and within the next few weeks in other states), now is a great time to educate yourself on who and what will appear on your ballot. Consider the below resources:
BallotReady – Vote Informed on the Entire Ballot
The beauty about the BallotReady site is that you can research any candidate, referendum/ballot initiative, etc. that will appear on your ballot, based on your street address.
Vote411 Voter Guide – Personalized Ballot Information
The nice thing about the Vote411 site, is that they inform you about upcoming debate forums in your area, based on your street address. The debate forums are useful, especially when it comes to learning about lesser known candidates running for elected office.
